Ilan Edry began his security career in 2005 while serving in the military. He then worked as a close protection officer for a government agency until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, he conducted security audits and advised executives, companies and government services in Europe and Africa as a personal and property security advisor for an international security agency in Europe. He also helped train security personnel and develop protection and prevention strategies to optimize existing procedures.
From 2012 to 2013, Mr. Edry took over as director of a private security agency in France, supervising 120 agents across some 40 sites. He then accepted a role as project manager at a security system integrator tasked with implementing security solutions, including for the highest tower in the Indian Ocean, in Madagascar. He coordinated a team of 10 people.
In 2015, he was appointed operations manager for a private security group, implementing innovative operational techniques, optimizing service delivery and improving client development and retention. He went on to found his own multi-service company providing consulting services, conducting investigations and installing innovative security systems (video surveillance, intrusion alarms, etc.) for clients in Europe.
In 2024, Mr. Edry joined the SIRCO team as a senior advisor, supervising security guards and assisting with risk analyses and security audits for various clients. SIRCO is proud to be able to count on his extensive and varied expertise.
Mr. Edry holds a high school diploma with a specialization in math and science (Paris, France), as well as a security consulting licence issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée (Quebec).
