Geneviève Chauvin works as an investigative analyst at SIRCO, specifically in the computer forensics investigations division. She began her career as a security guard in institutional and public settings. After completing a bachelor’s degree in homeland security and police studies and a certificate in investigation and intelligence, she submitted her master’s thesis in criminology on police interventions targeting cryptocurrency markets. She is also interested in the dark web, hackers and cryptocurrency markets. Before she joined the SIRCO team full time, she was also a research and teaching assistant for courses in security, private investigation and crisis management.
