Money matters
Financial analysis consists in an in-depth examination of an organization’s accounts and prospects, in order to provide:
- An appraisal of the business, most often for current or potential shareholders;
- An appraisal of its solvency, to determine whether the business may be an acceptable counterparty (supplier, bank, or credit rating agency);
- An internal diagnosis to support strategic choices in terms of future financing methods.
The purpose of this analysis, which is based mainly on accounting but also various other information, is to provide a summary overview that highlights current realities and will help business leaders, investors and lenders in decision-making. The most often studied aspects are profitability, solvency and liquidities.
SIRCO relies on a group of accounting and financial experts to conduct investigations and financial analysis with a view to avoiding unfortunate surprises and many often serious problems.
