Who are you hiring?
Some companies that must maintain a high level of security, owing to government contracts or the presence of confidential industrial data, for example, choose to conduct security checks on their staff. It is up to the employer to determine which employees should be checked, in accordance with the need-to-know principle.
Among other things, the security check can include the following measures:
- Checking the applicant’s identity (via identification documents);
- Making sure the employee has properly filled out background check forms and has supplied supporting documents, if applicable;
- Verifying personal information on the employee, such as date of birth, address, schooling and professional qualifications, job background, criminal record, personal references, etc.
SIRCO holds all expertise and certifications required to legally carry out such investigations.
