Claude Sarrazin, President of SIRCO has been invited to speak as a panelist for the upcoming Senate Open Caucus on the state of cyber security in Canada, Claude will focus on his experiences in the field dealing with Cyber fraud, corporate espionage and cyber terrorism.
Since Canada is one of the most digitized countries in the world, cyber security of infrastructure becomes of immediate importance. This discussion will focus on the current landscape of cyber security and what steps can be taken to make Canada a leader in the promotion and protection of online data.
These Open Caucus meetings are sponsored by the Senate Liberals, but are open to all parliamentarians. Doors are open to members of the public and the media. The purpose of these meetings is to encourage non-partisan, public discussions on important issues facing Canadians.
This particular meeting will take place on Wednesday October 19th from 9:15am-11:15am in Room 160-S, Centre Block.
