Patrick Rogers was a police officer with the Sûreté du Québec for almost thirty (30) years. He spent seven (7) years as a patrol officer before joining the Groupe tactique d’intervention of the west Emergency Response Team. He developed his policing skills during strikes and demonstrations, wilderness missing persons searches and crime scene evidence searches, as well as through monitoring of the police service’s integrated telecommunication network and search channel. During this time, he also served as a guard and provided personal protection services to political figures and dignitaries.
He spent the next eighteen (18) years as a surveillance device technician, selecting and preparing the equipment needed for each investigation, installing it and ensuring its proper operation through a platform to prepare a detailed investigation report on the content collected. He was also tasked with securing sites during government trips. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in major national investigations. Recognized as an expert in electronic surveillance systems, he excels at scanning and countermeasure methods.
