Starting off on the right foot
Preliminary risk analysis involves conducting an investigation from the inception of an IT system’s design, in order to identify any hazards to which the system might be exposed and to be able to control them once the system is up and running.
The analysis involves a detailed examination of material and software, the environment where the system will be used, and anticipated uses and applications.
More specifically, preliminary risk analysis seeks to identify:
- The hazards to which the system might be exposed;
- Specific scenarios that would lead to problematic situations;
- The consequences for the system and the organization;
- Solutions and risk control.
Even though it is performed before complete system data is available (procedures, maintenance, etc.), this analysis will enhance security and integrity from the outset, making it extremely cost effective.
SIRCO relies on an expert security team in order to analyze systems of all sizes.
