When harassment occurs in the workplace, the employer has a responsibility to take action. As soon as a complaint is filed, whether formally or informally, the employer cannot ignore the problem.
SIRCO uses a rigorous method to determine whether workplace harassment has taken place and to suggest actions to take. This method can be applied to the three following areas:
- Psychological harassment;
- Sexual harassment; and
- Intimidation.
SIRCO provides managers with practical training on investigation techniques for psychological harassment, as well as the handling of complaints.* The firm can also assist you in developing a workplace harassment policy.
The training fully takes into account provincial and federal laws.
